Quality Inn & Suites Monroe

After six nights here, I checked out, booked another room online, and drove 100 miles back. When I arrived, they canceled that booking and explained their rule: seven days maximum, then you must be out for 48 hours before checking in again. Makes no sense to me. I won't use Quality anymore.

The staff, including housekeeping and the front desk, were really pleasant, and truck parking is available. The hotel's under renovation, though it was badly overdue: the mirror and shower spout are both crooked. I'd stay again because the location works for me.

At 1:30 am, the grounds guy woke us up by blowing leaves. I went out and politely asked why he was doing it at that hour. He said his shift ended at 6 am. It was Monday, and I had work later climbing a cell tower. Where's the respect or courtesy?

Someone was allowed to check in using my name with a different address. They didn't do their job, and I'm very disappointed and displeased. Somehow an idiot was attached to my account, and I've already reported what happened. I used to love this place, but after this and the unprofessionalism, I can't trust them with my information and won't stay again. I don't understand how it happened when they're supposedly checking IDs. My signature wouldn't match the one from my Oct 16 -17 stay. If I find out it happens again, we're going to have big problems. I'm beyond mad.
