The water-side location is amazing, and the staff were genuinely lovely, even letting us check in early. The bed linens were warm and fluffy, and they use Le Labo soap. Those were the bright spots for me. The room felt dingy and smelled musty, with cold bare floors and a disappointing bathroom. The design seemed dated, and the walkways badly needed paint and upkeep. It felt like the place had been through months of frat parties and hadn’t been fixed up. I was disappointed, and the website gave me the wrong impression. This felt like a motel, not a four-star hotel.

The ocean, the view, the café, and the Le Labo toiletries were all wonderful, but the price still felt a bit high. There were three of us and the room had only been set up for two. The concrete floor was very cold, and there were no slippers. The mattress and pillows were much too soft and seemed poor quality.

The pool is only a few feet from the beach, which made it especially convenient, and the grounds are beautiful. My husband and I had an amazing stay at Marram. The staff were so accommodating that it felt like being with family. I’d recommend it to families and can’t wait to go back.

The food was wonderful, and the morning pastries looked like little works of art. It felt like a magical oceanfront oasis with a European feel. Everyone on staff was kind, friendly, and accommodating. Javier, the manager, was especially thoughtful and went above and beyond to make our stay feel perfect.

The staff were friendly, and the ocean was right in front of the property. But for what it cost, the place felt more like a motel. My room was so small I couldn’t open my suitcase properly, the sink was clogged, and there was no TV. The heater was extremely loud, so I had to leave it off, and noise between floors was terrible. It started early in the morning and kept me from sleeping. Paying over $500 a night on a weekday was extremely disappointing.
