I’d stayed here before without problems, and the staff were friendly when I first checked in. This time, though, I was moved between rooms several times because of room issues. I saw beds in multiple rooms propped upright, apparently for bed bug treatment, and it seemed to me the bugs had been around for a while and might have been spreading from room to room. Later I was accused of bringing bed bugs, which I know I didn’t have. I finished my stay at another hotel and had no problems there, which made me think this place was responsible. Some staff also had a very strong body odor. I was eventually kicked out after refusing to pay a $20 after-hours fee that I couldn’t find in the policy. When I asked them to show me where it was written, they threw me out. Maybe that was for the best, since the other hotel gave me much better service. If you still choose to stay here, be careful. I wouldn’t risk it.

My mom and I paid $1,060 a month for a double room and stayed here for almost two years. The owner was friendly when she checked us in, and staff were nice at first, but things got much worse during our last six months. There were cockroaches, and staff blamed us for them. We saw puppies belonging to another guest taken off the property, apparently stolen; it was reported to police, though as far as we know nothing came of it. When my mom was sick and passed out in the hallway, they were bombing our room for roaches, and we were kicked out in the middle of a severe snowstorm. We were told we needed to come up with $100 to stay. I last knew of only one person running the hotel, with no other workers around. We weren’t refunded when we had to leave, so we had no money to go elsewhere or do anything. Within 24 hours of leaving, some of our things had been stolen from the room, and we weren’t given any trust pass.

The location is great, and the staff used to be polite and friendly. Now the hotel has a serious roach problem, and the manager seems interested only in getting paid. She won’t bring in a professional to deal with the infestation, but wants guests out of their rooms for more than eight hours so she can bomb them.

I was only there to pick up something a friend had left behind, and even while waiting in the lobby I felt uneasy around the people I encountered. I worried about roaches falling from the ceiling or bed bugs hitching a ride home on my clothes. Nobody answered when I called, there was no one at the front desk, just lots of notes posted around. They charged $3 for a roll of toilet paper, which is ridiculous. This was worse than a Travel inn or Motel 6 in Omaha. I definitely wouldn’t recommend it unless you want to risk taking roaches or bed bugs home, or being raped and robbed.

The room was clean, fresh, and well kept, and everyone there was super friendly. The staff took care of everything I needed and made me feel more like family than a paying customer. Honestly, I had a great stay and would come back.
