White Mountain Motel And Cottages

We came for one night with my husband to see the Ice Castles, and I only wish we could’ve stayed longer. For Valentine’s Day weekend I rented Cottage #1, and it was perfect, cozy, comfortable, and themed just right, with everything we needed and more. I’ll recommend it to people coming to the area and already look forward to visiting again. I keep trying to add the video recap I made, but Google won’t let me :(

We’ve stayed at plenty of motels over the years while going to the NH Highland Games, and this one may have only two stars, but it gets five from us. The room was clean, recently updated, quiet, and large enough for the two of us. Check-in and checkout were easy and contactless. It had a microwave, mini fridge, A/C, and a decent-sized flat screen. We’ll book again for next year’s games. When I choose a motel or hotel, I want a safe area, a fair price, a clean room, and peace and quiet. We don’t need extras like gyms, indoor pools, or a greasy, salty “free” breakfast.

Whenever I come up from NJ, I stay here with my kids. We love the cabins and the family feel. I know the family, but I’d say the same even if I didn’t. The owners are always there and seem to genuinely care about how their customers are doing. Every time I see them, they ask me several times how everything was. Try a small place like this and you’ll feel the difference.

We rented a cabin with two couples, and there was plenty of room for us. Everything was tidy and super clean, and the beds were soft and comfy. Loved this little motel, and I’d recommend it to anyone driving the k-highway.
