The best part was sitting on the terrace, breathing in the sea air and listening to the waves. I also saw deer and seagulls come into the parking lot at night. The location is fantastic, and the beach is just a three-minute walk, so my family could go for walks at dawn or at night. It was a cold, rainy April day, but the heater worked well, and after our walk a hot shower was welcome. The sofa bed was spacious, though old and squeaky. There were TVs in both the bedroom and living room. The nearby supermarket is about seven minutes away. We bought water, strawberries, apples, frozen food, and cake, and the new refrigerator and microwave came in handy. The kitchen had a coffee pot, toaster, pot, ladle, knife, spoon, fork, glass cup, plate, and bottle opener. There was only one wine glass, the plastic ladle was old, and the coating on the pot and frying pan was peeling. For coffee, go to a nearby cafe. Buying 2.5 gallons of water is convenient. For three people, it’s a good-value family stay in a great location. We paid $340 for two nights and three days in the off-season, but the rain kept us from seeing the sunrise. The office opened at 10 AM. When we checked in, the living room TV didn’t work, but an office employee promptly swapped its setup box. I requested kitchen towels, toilet paper, and garbage pickup online, but nothing was taken care of over the two days. Employees need to take responsibility. We had to make one roll of toilet paper last three days, and there was noise between floors.

The AC was one of my biggest complaints. I was told it was split AC, but it was a wall unit in the bedroom and only a ceiling fan in the living room. I was sweating too much to sleep. The first night was rough too, with young, drunk neighbors banging on doors and yelling after 1 a.m. I had to ask them to quiet down at least three times. I’d mentioned their behavior to the office earlier that day, but was told they could be loud until 10 p.m. There was no hot water when we tried to shower on the first day. Maintenance came right away, but even after the repair we got less than five minutes of hot water. Then the tub was left very dirty and the water was brown. There was also a yappy dog two doors down the whole time, despite the clear NO PETS rule. The parking lot is small. The location is the only decent thing about the place. We won’t return or recommend it.

The room was spacious and clean, and we had a great weekend getaway.

The location was nice, but we had no AC on a very hot night and couldn’t reach anyone on staff after hours. At checkout, the front desk acknowledged the problem and said they’d follow up, but nothing came. I heard from them only after I escalated the matter through my bank, and then the hotel denied everything. Poor service and no accountability. I won’t be back.
