Wavecrest Resort

The kitchenette had pots, pans, utensils, dishes, and everything else stocked. The pool was a better option than the freezing Atlantic, though the food truck wasn't open yet, unfortunately. The ocean-view rooms were fabulous, and it was a perfect spot for our reunion.

We love staying here when we come to Montauk. The spacious room has great beach access, and we had a great experience overall. It would be nice if visiting family could get a guest pass, even for a small fee.

Wavecrest on the Ocean was peaceful and well-kept, with that classic Montauk charm. It was close enough to town for restaurants and shops, but still felt quiet and private. My room was clean, comfortable, and had what I needed, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. They seem to care about making guests feel welcome. I stayed there for my birthday, and the ocean views were stunning. The property is right on the beach, just steps from my room. Waking to the sound of the waves and watching the sunrise from the balcony made the weekend feel like a real escape. It was a beautiful, peaceful, rejuvenating place to celebrate. I'll definitely return to Wavecrest on the Ocean.

The beach is beautiful, and that location gets the one star. Otherwise, this isn't a resort. It's a motel calling itself a resort and charging resort fees. Nothing matches, and the sliding door was rusted out, with a rusty bar running down to hold it shut.
