The rooms are average, about what you’d expect from a 3 star hotel. They don’t justify being charged $1k a night in summer, or $1000 and more a night. This is one of Montauk’s biggest ripoffs. Don’t let them rip you and your family off. It’s a disgrace and a joke.

We were there for a couple of days from the end of May into the beginning of June. The weather was great and the people were very friendly. We stayed in unit 12, where the bathroom had just been renovated and was very nice. The village restaurants and shops are two blocks away, and Montauk bakery has great stuff.

My daughter really loved the beach and the area during our weekend getaway from the city for her birthday. The stay was very nice overall, though the price was steep. I gave it four stars because the pool was out of service, and that hadn’t been made clear when I booked. We’d been really excited to use the heated pool.

We stayed in room 15, a three-bed room, in mid June, and it worked perfectly for me, my husband, and our three friends. The beach is right there, and we could walk pretty much everywhere. The room was gorgeous and clean, parking was more than enough, and the staff were friendly and responsive. Maybe it was because the season had just started, but the pool wasn’t crowded at all, despite what some other reviews said. I’d definitely stay again.

It’s a nice place, with rooms big enough and a nice beach and pool, but it’s pretty expensive. Being right near Montauk main square is more convenient than some other nice hotels like this. My rating isn’t exactly 4.0, but it rounds up to four. A little pricey!
