Best Western Movie Manor

The lobby and breakfast area are lovely, and breakfast was really good. Since it was off season and there were only a few guests, the host made us hot cheese omelettes and sausages when we asked for more. That was a really nice gesture, and the service deserves five stars. The rooms are named after Hollywood stars, with their names written on the floor by the lobby entrance. Our room was clean and spacious, though the hot water took a while to come through. I can overlook that, but that's just my personal view. The place is out in the middle of nowhere, with exceptional views from all around the property. The open-air movie theater, where you can watch from your room, was closed for the season. I would've loved to see it, but didn't mind missing it. I'd recommend staying here if you're visiting the area or Great Sand Dunes National Park.

I was in Monte Vista for work this week and stayed at Best Western Movie Manor. The owners were friendly and accommodating, and the place was very clean. The A/C worked like a champ, too. I didn't get to watch a movie from my room, though that's a cool perk. The surrounding area is beautiful as well.

I'm in Monte Vista for work pretty often, and Movie Manor is where I always stay. I've tried lots of hotels, and these rooms are among the cleanest and most comfortable I've had. They always smell clean, too. The staff are consistently polite, kind, and ready to help however they can. I definitely recommend it.

The room was roomy, comfortable, and very clean, and I liked the shower. Breakfast was very good, with waffles, scrambled eggs, sausage, and plenty of other choices. The hotel itself is quite old. Its unusual feature is the drive-in theater view from the window, with movie dialogue piped into the room if you want to watch that way.
