Best Star Inn - Montebello Los Angeles

If you need a cheap room, this may be the place, but you get what you pay for. I found a couple of roaches as soon as I entered. The room smelled like smoke even though the front desk says smoking isn't allowed. The place is rundown, and I didn't dare sleep in the bed. I was exhausted and needed sleep, so I didn't complain.

We walked in, saw the state of the room, and left to find another hotel. The place was dirty: the sheets had holes and stains, the bed smelled and had hair on it, and the room itself smelled awful. There was no Wi-Fi either. Paint was peeling all over the walls, and most things were worn out or broken. Who would stay here?

I couldn't sleep because someone kept trying to open the door. The room smelled bad and was really dusty. Terrible experience. Don't stay here, even as a last resort.

Everything in the room looked dirty, from the floors and walls to the sink, tub, toilet, and towels. The sheets also looked like they hadn't been changed between guests, as if someone only made the bed. There was a strong cigarette smell as soon as we arrived. I honestly can't understand all the good reviews. I wouldn't recommend this place unless you're really down on your luck and just need somewhere to rest.
