Courtyard Gainesville

The food was really good, especially for a Courtyard, and the lobby is spacious. The city is easy to get around on foot, with lots of restaurants and shops nearby. I found the room modern, roomy, comfortable and very well designed, just right for focused writing. I even had a physically measurable parasympatheic response when I arrived, though that's a story for another time. I'd planned a long weekend to finish my first book at a lodge in the north Georgia mountains. Then a snow "storm" hit, which means 3 inches in Georgia, and I had to leave. I was irritated, but don't blame the lodge. The Courtyard in Gainesville fit what I needed, and I started to calm down as soon as I arrived. The staff were amazing and friendly, and Lisa in particular took care of my needs. If you need somewhere good to stay in the area, this is it.

My husband, dad and I stayed five nights while Dad was getting treatment at the local hospital. Every staff member kept going out of their way to help make him comfortable. Their support made a very difficult week much easier, and I'm forever grateful. I'm a Marriott fan for life now. The hotel was clean, bright, modern, quiet and comfortable, with incredible service. Exemplary management and customer care.

After four months of traveling and staying in mid range Marriott and Hilton hotels full time, this is the nicest one I've found. The rooms look freshly remodeled, pristine, modern and cute. They smell wonderful too. There's streaming on the TV, and the bar is great, with an amazing bartender and service. So grateful! The rooms are a little thin, though, and I could hear street traffic. I was on the 3rd floor, so I'm not sure if it's quieter higher up.

The convenient location made it easy for us to explore the area, and the rooms were clean, modern and very comfortable for the price. From arrival onward, we felt relaxed in the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and gave us great service throughout our family getaway. The stay exceeded our expectations. Wonderful job by the whole team!
