I slept like a baby. The hotel seems to have just relaunched under new management. It was simple and easy, and the place was clean and comfortable. Management was very responsive.

The hotel has been fully renovated, and they did a great job with it. Our room was very clean and the bed was comfortable, though the bathroom was on the small side. The owner, general manager, and front desk team were all friendly and helpful. It’s also an easy walk to campus.

A very good stay, with friendly staff. A few little fixes would help: a bath mat for the slippery floor, a bathroom vent fan, and some WD-40 on the squeaky bathroom door.

For the price, it was a really good room. It was neat and very clean, including the bathroom and shower, and the TV and WiFi worked great. The showerhead was confusing to use, though, and my friend and I both had a reaction while staying in the room.

I found plenty of restaurants after walking around the neighborhood, and the motel is conveniently close to the UF campus and other things you might need. I was only in town for a night and nearby hotels cost WAY more, so this was a solid budget choice. Check-in was easy, the room had the usual amenities, and the new TV and recently redone bathroom were nice. The furniture is dated and gives the place a rustic feel. I personally like the old-school motel shower, and the bed was surprisingly decent. For the price, you can't beat it. I'd book here again if I return to Gainesville.
