The location was ideal, close to everything, and our room was quiet with parking right outside. The bed was comfortable and came with lots of pillows, and there was plenty of hot water. At $54 a night, it was a great price for the two nights we stayed. The room was small and dated but clean, with a microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator. Bring your own coffee and filters. The shower pressure was awful. If you're short, the spray goes right around you, lol. Paint was peeling off the bathroom walls, and the heater couldn't be turned off, so thank goodness for the fan. The pool and hot tub were closed, dang it. Still, I'd recommend it if you just need somewhere to clean up and sleep.

I found the room clean and comfortable, with new carpet, updated furnishings, and a spacious, clean bathroom. The building itself is dated, but the location worked perfectly for me since downtown Monterey is within walking distance. America’s Best Value President’s Inn on Munras was a great value for what I needed. I'd stay again and recommend it.

Watching the sunrise from the balcony was a treat. The room was a good size for two, and we appreciated having a microwave, refrigerator, and coffee maker.

For a low-cost stay, this would be my choice again. The rooms were spacious, everything worked, and there was a fridge and microwave. I also liked that the room entrances were set back from the main street.

We could hear the person upstairs walking around until 2 a.m. The walls are so thin, and it got really annoying. The motel is very dated, and the curtains let the outdoor lights show through all night. Our room was clean, at least. Bring earplugs and a sleep mask.
