Monterey Pines Inn

It’s an older place, but it was clean, and the bed was comfortable. I had hot water and a fridge, which covered what I needed. For a night or two on a road trip, that’s enough. It met my expectations.

We had a very comfortable stay with our child. The rooms were clean and had what we needed, and the value was outstanding. It’s a great place.

Filthy, with black walls, stains, and pet hair. The place smelled of pet feces and urine. We left after checking in. Staff were rude and refused a refund, even though they were sold out and rebooked the room. So they got paid twice. Crooks. Avoid this place. The Health Department should shut it down.

I meant to write this review sooner. During spring break this year, I spent two nights here and had a lovely stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and felt secure. Getting checked in and out was easy, and the staff were delightful. The location was super convenient for everything I had planned. I’ll absolutely stay here again when I’m back in Monterey.
