The front desk and housekeeping staff were so friendly, and the place is clearly well cared for. It has a convenient location and a lovely feel, a bit like visiting my grandma's house, with decor that's out of date but looked after. One small thing: the bathroom hand soap felt chalky and bothered me. If you have sensitive skin or tactile issues, you might want to bring your own.

They were willing to help me find a room for a night or two, and you can call ahead to check availability. The people were so nice and treated me like family. My room was very clean, and it was a quiet place in a great location.

The morning coffee at the front desk is excellent, nice and strong. Mr. And Mrs Owner are so friendly and helpful, too. I loved this little motel. It's very clean and quiet. Bring a plug for recharging your computer. ❤️👏👍

The owners are some of the nicest people you'll meet, and they're really nice to people affiliated with Norwich University. The rooms are spotless, though small, charming, and quaint. An average-sized person should have no trouble moving around, but if space is a problem, First in Fitness is up the hill. The WiFi is super fast, the location is great, and you can't beat the price. I visit Central Vermont regularly, and the next closest hotel at this price level is around $120 a night. It feels like a little Ritz-Carlton in disguise. Hopefully the owners don't sell out to Holiday Inn.
