The room was mostly clean and the hotel itself looked nice, though there was one really sticky spot. One front desk clerk went out of her way to help guests, and I wish I'd gotten her name so I could give her credit. When I raised the problems with the manager on checkout day, he apologized and said he'd address them. The front counter staff on our second day were rude and seemed lazy. The morning guy sat behind the desk on his phone and did very little. The woman working evenings brought her teenage kids, ignored guests, or was rude to them.

The room was spacious and the staff were helpful, but that was about all I liked. We stayed for a week and got no housekeeping at all: no trash collection, fresh sheets, or clean towels. The pool was freezing and had way too much chlorine. Breakfast was cold, and if they ran out of something, that was it. They have some nerve calling this a hotel, it felt more like a hostel. I won't stay again and will tell people heading to the area to avoid it.

Tabitha, Amy, and the rest of the staff took such kind care of us when we needed help. Our motorhome broke down badly in Lexington Kentucky, so it was towed to a nearby diesel repair shop. We stayed five nights while it was being fixed. Thank you from Dave & Kathy.

The front desk and housekeeping staff were really nice, which is the only reason I gave two stars. We left a day early because the rooms were dirty and noisy, and even after asking twice over 12 hours, we didn't get clean towels or blankets. There were dead ants and hair in the bathroom, and the dishwasher had dishes caked with grime. I ran it, but the cups still came out dirty. The pool was freezing. It was so cloudy from the self-chlorinating setup that you couldn't see through it, and your eyes burned even outside the water. Stay away.
