Sleep Inn

This was one of the best hotel stays we've had across all our vacations, and it was a great price too. Everyone on staff was friendly and attentive. I'd gladly stay here again, and especially recommend it if you're planning a trip to Kentucky.

We were really happy with our room and the comfortable beds. Everything was clean, and what we needed was easy to find. We've stayed at five-star places that were less accommodating than this Sleep Inn. The location was perfect for visiting the Ark Encounter and gave us another area to explore. We missed breakfast downstairs, though what we saw being cleared looked great. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the sweet woman on the night shift was a huge blessing who made the stay superb. We just checked out and would definitely come back.

The room was okay, but it had a musty paint smell. The man at the desk, who is the property manager, was rude. I booked a king room and got pretty crappy treatment when I refused to stay in a two-bed room. When I went back for the king room keys, I thanked him and he just walked away. Terrible customer service.

The assistant manager was very kind and offered us an extra room at no charge after the bed mix-up, which we appreciated. The rest of the stay was fine, but check-in gave our trip a rough start. We'd booked two queen beds and got a room with one bed and a pull-out couch instead. The TV also had no power cord. Staff brought one when we asked, but it didn't fit, and although they said they'd find the right one, it never arrived. The experience didn't meet expectations.
