The police were there often, taking people away. I know that isn't the motel's fault, but it did give me a sense of who was staying there. There were some friendly people at the front desk, though the night shift man was a problem. He'd call in the middle of the night or around 5 a.m., insisting I hadn't paid, even though I paid through Booking. I recommend using Booking or Expedia for payment. I stayed for an extended time, and things seemed fine at first, then went downhill. My son kept saying he smelled mildew, and eventually I noticed it too, though I couldn't tell where it was coming from. After reading other reviews, I realized there may be a real mildew problem, and I hope they look into it. The housekeeping was also difficult. The staff seemed to understand little or no English. I'd say, "Just a minute," when someone knocked, but he'd bang louder and yell. He said I never let him into the room, which wasn't true. A maintenance worker also claimed he'd heard me say that, and that was a lie. Sometimes I hadn't secured the door, and the cleaner would barge in while I was still saying, "Just a minute, please." One day he walked in while my son was wearing only his underwear. He didn't seem to care what he swept up, either. I lost my prescription glasses and searched everywhere before realizing they'd been on the floor and swept away. I had to buy another pair. Before I left, though, I noticed they had a better, more professional cleaning crew, which was good. It wasn't all bad.
