Courtyard Pittsburgh Airport

I couldn’t find the entrance at all. The front is completely blocked by the renovation, and there’s no sign telling you where to check in. The only doors I found were side doors that needed key cards. I walked around outside in pouring rain looking for whatever temporary entrance they had, and never found it. Nobody had told us before arrival that construction was underway. I asked for a refund because the situation felt like a bait and switch, but their customer service was as poor as the accommodations. This kind of lack of transparency gives Marriott properties a bad name. The other Marriott property is 6 minutes away, is much nicer, and also has an airport shuttle. This hotel should NOT be open during such extensive renovations.

Staff were trying their best under bad circumstances, and after about 30 min they managed to check people in manually. At first, though, I couldn’t check in because the systems were down. The lobby and entire first floor looked like a war zone during the extensive renovation. They need to shut the place down until the work is finished instead of trying to operate through construction.

Thanks to the team for helping my family after our flight was canceled. DJ came through with the late night shuttle. Excellent service!

It’s really quiet here, and the beds are amazing, like sleeping on a cloud. Everyone’s so nice. Kelly the van driver, Dave, Bill, Mike, Danny, Grace, Lilly, the rest of the front desk crew, Doren, Wilma, Amy the GM, and Brad the assistant GM are all amazing. Highly recommend staying here.
