Pittsburgh Airport Inn and Suites

Kelly, Anthony, and Adam did what they could to make the stay good despite the property’s age. Kelly and her team seem to care about customers. Anthony in housekeeping is outstanding, kind, and helpful. Adam checked me in quickly, though service took hours the next day. The location is fantastic. The property is very old and the rooms are tiny. It feels like a Hampton Inn Lite, with the name but not the brand quality I expect from Hampton Inns. Breakfast isn’t always up to standard, although the biscuits and gravy were good. The sign said Diamond Members got a drink and snack, but during my five-day stay I only got two bottles of water, and nobody even offered a snack. Hot water was nearly nonexistent at the sink, and the shower took 10-15 minutes to warm up. Overall, a bit disappointing.

The Pittsburgh-Moon area Hampton Inn was comfortable and welcoming. Adam helped me several times, going out of his way to sort out any issues quickly and efficiently. His professionalism, attentiveness, and genuine care stood out. I highly recommend staying here. If you need help, ask for Adam. He’ll make sure you’re looked after.

Kelly at the desk was great, welcoming and efficient. The hotel is also close to our parking, which was convenient. Those were the only good parts of the stay. We only needed a room for five hours before a very early flight from Pittsburgh International Airport, since I live a little over an hour away. The musty smell was almost more than I could stand, so I had to sleep with something over my face. I was up, dressed, and ready to go by 1:30, even though we didn’t need to leave until 2:30. The hot water was barely hot. We stay at Hampton Inns all the time and seek them out, but we’ll never stay here again.

We used the hotel for park and ride. It was fine, and the front desk staff were nice. The hotel currently uses Globe for its shuttle, as do some others nearby. Our trip was reasonably prompt, but the van was very crowded. With all the stops and passengers, delays seem possible. One passenger lost her phone and held everyone up, though that wasn’t the shuttle’s fault. Plan for the chance of a delay.
