Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Airport

Liz at the front desk made me feel at home after my late-night check-in. She was so warm and kind, and even went to get me coffee from the back. I really appreciated that. I was here for work for two nights and thought it was a great hotel. There’s outdoor seating with a fire pit, a great bar, meeting space, and a fantastic gym. I recommend it.

We ended up paying for one room, mine, that evening, and it’s frustrating that nobody has offered a resolution. I’ll update this if Hilton gives us a satisfactory response. My daughter is now trying to contact the corporate office. My daughter and I had planned a hotel swim night for her two kids. The pool at the Holiday Inn Express (Monaca) was down, and they kindly refunded me right away, so we made a last-minute booking at the Hilton Garden Inn. My daughter booked through booking.com, while I planned to pay for our room when we arrived. Her reservation hadn’t appeared in the system yet. Devin at the counter said we could wait an unknown amount of time for it to show up or she could cancel it. I then reserved room #109 and paid for it. The next day, my daughter learned her card had been charged $205 plus $50 for incidentals. She appealed to booking.com, who said they understood and were on her side and that a review would take five days. The Hilton manager ultimately refused to refund the money, saying the $205 my daughter paid was a cancellation fee. A $200 cancellation fee for a room that cost $205 didn’t make sense to me. Allen, the supervisor at the Hilton, wouldn’t resolve the issue by refunding the room charge. When I asked for his supervisor, he said nobody else was on the premises. He also refused to give me the supervisor’s phone number.

The location is fantastic, close to everything, and the staff are outstanding and really service-minded. We’d definitely stay here again. The airport shuttle is a huge bonus too. Keep it up, Hilton staff. We see you :)

The bar area is lovely and always decorated festively for the holidays, and the food is delicious. We’ve also been to several events at the hotel and have had a wonderful time each time. It’s our favorite local hotel. We often stay at the Hilton Garden Inn Pittsburgh Airport (Moon Township) the night before an early vacation flight. Leaving our car there while we’re away is convenient and reasonably priced. The rooms are consistently clean, service is excellent, and the staff are exceptionally friendly. The location is ideal, with shops and restaurants easy to get to.
