We ended up staying about two weeks after finding Springhill Suites during a family crisis. We'd stayed at a lot of hotels around Pittsburgh Pa over the last five years, and this was the best one. The suites were spacious and comfortable, and the place was clean and well looked after. I liked having separate air conditioning controls for the bedroom and living room, plus the bathroom had plenty of space and a walk-in shower with great water pressure. Breakfast had something for everyone, including plant-based options. The staff were welcoming and so kind. We arrived the day after our loved one passed away. When we explained why we were there at check-in, the front desk clerk offered her condolences. The next morning, as we extended our stay, the manager came out to offer his condolences too. He said the previous night's staff had told him what was happening. That kind of communication and customer service meant a lot. We'd just left an overpriced hotel in Robinson Mall where the room wasn't as new as the lounge or as the pictures made it look.

The location worked out perfectly for my ride across the U.S. on the Great American Rail-Trail, right off the Montour Trail. The staff were phenomenal and really hospitable. There was plenty of room for my bicycle, breakfast was included, and the washer and dryer were just $2.

As of March, 2026, this seems like a brand-new hotel. It's clean and nicely furnished. On winter trips I always appreciate finding an extra blanket in the closet.

We stopped for two nights during our Warrior Expeditions Great American Rails Trail bike trip across the country, mainly to catch up on laundry and get some rest. It was a great stop. The staff were friendly and supportive, and our room was spacious and very clean.

We'd happily come back to Springhill Suites in Coraopolis PA. The property is clean and updated, and the staff were so friendly and hardworking. They were constantly cleaning floors, fixing up their work area, or helping out in the breakfast area, always with a smile and kind words. We really enjoyed Tracey, Andrew, Barb, Rob, John and Natalie, and we'll miss them when we leave. Thanks for making the stay such a good one!
