Motel 6 Macon, GA – I-475

There’s no breakfast, but coffee is available, and the staff were very friendly. They even gave us a welcome package. The location is great, right off the exit and close to restaurants, stores, and entertainment. Our room was comfortable, with soft beds and plush pillows, plus a microwave and fridge. The room and bathroom doors needed lifting to close properly, and the hair dryer didn’t work.

Reecie made my stay at Motel 6 a five-star experience. She was warm and professional when I arrived, and her positive attitude made me feel welcome right away. She went out of her way to keep things smooth and comfortable, and was attentive, helpful, and clearly cared about guests. You don’t often meet someone who takes that much pride in their work. I’ll come back and recommend this location to others. Thanks, Reecie!

The neighborhood was clean and peaceful, and the area was quiet. My room was clean and spacious, with a jacuzzi I didn’t use. No pets, and Walmart is three minutes away. The interstate is easy to reach.

We tried a Garner hotel for the first time because we’re IGA members and thought we’d give it a go on the way to another destination. The room was clean, though clearly dated and just given a fresh coat of paint. The bathroom was older-style, and breakfast was okay. There was a water fountain but no bottle-filling station. Coffee was always available, though not in the room. The hotel gets a four from me. What bothered me was that every trash can in the lobby and outside was overflowing.
