I stayed there for almost two months, then they accused me of smoking in the room. I was told to leave by 2 p.m. and that I’d get my $83 back as long as there was no damage. I recorded the room before I left to show it was undamaged, and sent the video to the general manager. It’s been four weeks and I still haven’t gotten the refund. I’ve texted her, but she hasn’t replied. Don’t promise a refund if you won’t follow through, especially when I’m already struggling.

The place seemed good apart from this, but after one night I found myself covered in bed bug bites. Now I have to worry about whether any came home with me. Not fun, and I won’t be back.

The office staff were really helpful when we had trouble with the wifi. The shower pressure was surprisingly strong, and I liked having the bedroom somewhat separate from the living area. The couch was a bit tough, though, and the living space smelled of smoke at first. I got used to it while we stayed, and it was a decent hostel overall.

The units felt more like short-term apartments than an extended-stay motel, and they were well kept with clean shared areas. The staff were very friendly, and I got the impression they’re all family since they said it’s a family-run business. It’s tucked away off the beaten path, with all entrances facing an interior courtyard and requiring a key card.
