Rendezvous Mountain Rentals

We’ve been doing an annual ski trip with five couples from college for 11 years, and this was the best ski house we’ve stayed in. RMR moved us to a beautiful home, Granite Ridge Lodge 3197, after a burst pipe made the property we booked unavailable. A few weeks before the trip, they first said repairs were expected to be done in time, but they had other options if not. When a move became necessary, they asked about the couples and group dynamics so they could find a good fit. That personal care continued throughout. We loved the private hot tub and heated bathroom floors, and the home felt welcoming, with reusable shopping bags, helpful check-in recommendations, steady communication, and plenty of towels and blankets. The common areas were great for cooking and playing games after skiing. One of us, me, came home with a torn ACL, but we still hope to return to Teton Village with RMR. Thanks for the hospitality and for a lovely home where we made lasting memories.

The Ringer house was a great fit for our group of 10, and it was really clean. There were plenty of kitchen items, the beds were pretty comfortable, and the location made ski in/ski out access to the village easy. The property management company was friendly to work with, responsive, and informative. We’d absolutely stay here again.

We ended up having to rent another place, and I’m still frustrated that only a little over $500 was refunded. I had asked for a full refund after explaining that my child has asthma and couldn’t safely stay somewhere that seemed to affect his breathing. He started having a flare-up within the hour and a half we were at Tensleep A5, but we were told nothing could be done until the next day. The unit smelled old and musty, possibly like mold or mildew, though I don’t have photos to prove that. It also had hair on the rugs, dirty old rugs, crusted food on the table, something on the floor under a chair, items coming loose from the wall, and a mark that looked like urine but was described as condensation. I’m not hard to please, but I expect a vacation rental to be clean, comfortable, safe, and accommodating. This unit and company fell short on all of that. It felt like a motel style condo at a condo price. Save yourself the money and hassle, and stay somewhere else.
