Hampton Inn Morehead City

Chris kept the breakfast supplies stocked during a busy morning, and was courteous, friendly, and productive. The blizzard of '26 finally reached the coast, and the staff did what they could to make our stay pleasant. The manager kept most of the walkways cleared overnight. When I went out this morning, there was a mostly clear path to my car.

I walked the trail at the back of the property down to a large, grass-covered, raised earthen area and spent a while enjoying the water view. The grounds were clean and well kept, and the rooms were clean and bug free. I always check for bed bugs and roaches. Everyone I spoke with was awesome and very helpful, and the complimentary breakfast was great.

The woman at the front desk was very helpful and sweet, and didn't seem surprised at all when I called down to say our room was nasty. There were stains on the sheets, hair and a lot of strange black fuzz, food left in the fridge from the previous guests, and stained curtains.

The hotel, room, and lobby were clean, and the staff were courteous. It's in a good central spot for restaurants and shopping. Parking was nearly impossible when the hotel was full because plowed snow piles, or now ice, were taking up spaces all over the property after it snowed the week before. We also had to call for service on the toilet, and the flushing pressure still seems extremely weak.
