Quality Inn

The room hadn't been cleaned or restocked: there was trash in the bin, no towels, pee in the toilet, hair all over the filthy bathroom, and a half-dead cockroach behind the door with its legs still moving. I can only imagine the sheets weren't fresh either. The bedspread had a cigarette burn hole hidden under a pillow, even though we'd booked nonsmoking, and the pillows were askew. We also found a flickering sign that barely worked and couldn't be seen from the street. At check-in, the clerk welcomed us to Days Inn, which is related through Choice Hotels, but still, you'd think they'd know where they worked. The phone in the room didn't work either. I regret not checking reviews before wasting money here. This was horrible. I'll never stay there again, and it's put me off both Quality Inn and Choice Hotels. People shouldn't have to pay to sleep in these conditions.
