I think the woman at the front desk is looking for a reason to keep your deposit from the start. My mom and several other people have said she didn’t return more than $100 of theirs. Any small excuse seems enough, so I recommend staying away. Be careful if you choose this place.

I needed somewhere affordable to sleep on my first visit to town, and this hotel covered what I needed and more. I’d recommend it to anyone staying in town.

Friendly staff, and the room had both heating and air conditioning, which was good. Still, I wouldn’t recommend this place. People were arguing loudly, with no regard for others, and it seemed like people of one race were doing it. The bed frame rails stuck out underneath the bed skirt, so I kept catching my foot on them as I walked by. I’d forget they were there, and still have bruises on my leg. The water was cold on the first night, then took all day to warm up the next day. True story. I booked several nights about a week ago, but this place wasn’t for me.
