The place is clean and convenient, but quite minimalist and cramped, especially for two people. There isn’t much space to move around. The bed felt a little hard, and I’d have liked more than two pillows. Breakfast was decent for a quick bite, though there weren’t many options.

Housekeeping was good, and the towels were clean. For now it’s okay, but the place is getting pretty run-down. They need to scrape the peeling paint, clear the drains, enforce the no-smoking policy, replace the grout and carpet, fix the crusted shower head, and repair the broken window screen. These aren’t major renovations, just basic upkeep. If they don’t handle it, the stay won’t feel like a good deal much longer.

Room 311 was dirty and gross, with plaster and mold on the ceilings in both the room and shower, plus splatter stains on the couch. The bed was clean, but the room was worn and outdated. They also charged me twice at check-in. The extra payment went back to the wrong card because I’d used two cards for the reservation and another for the room deposit. Frustrating. I won’t stay again unless it’s free.

The room smelled bad, the toilet was filthy, and there was mold or dirt around the tub base. A bug met us at the bathroom door, like we were invading its home, and the shower had scum in it. This place was the worst. I arrived at 12:30am and wanted to leave straight away, but since we only needed sleep, I stayed until checking out at 7am and then changed hotels immediately. Sometimes the cheaper rate isn’t worth it. They also charged me for four nights when I should only have been billed for one. I’ve called every day since Saturday to get it corrected, but manager SYD is never available. I keep being told he’s out and won’t be in until “this evening.” I’ve disputed the charge with my bank.
