Super 8 by Wyndham Morganton

The room was super clean and quiet, and when I asked for two extra towels first thing, the woman was kind about it. The check-in office smelled strongly of Pine Sol, so it felt really clean too. The people running the place were very nice, and the cleaning person even ran after my car to return a shirt we’d left behind.

I’ve said it before, the staff at Super 8 are great. Housekeeping always gets me what I need when I ask, even after hours, and the improvements they’re making have made it a good, safe place to stay. I never have to worry about anything, since they provide what you need. I’d definitely recommend it if you need a place in Morganton. Thanks, Super 8, and thanks to housekeeping for the excellent service.

I was initially really happy with the room, but my experience with Roshan left me furious. He checked the room and agreed to return my deposit. I waited, but nothing arrived. Lucy told me he hadn’t sent it and said she would handle it, but it still never came. When I called again, Roshan said he had no intention of returning my deposit. He claimed the room was trashed and hung up. I was careful to keep it clean, so I don’t understand why he said they’d return the money in the first place. I don’t know what kind of business this is, but I’m contacting the better business bureau and telling everyone to stay away. They’re thieves!

Check-in was easy, and it seems like a good place. I just wish my room had been somewhere else. The ice machine and drink machine were right outside, and I didn’t get much sleep. Breakfast wasn’t very good and barely had any options, not even a waffle maker 🤷
