Springhill Suites by Marriott Morgantown

It’s a little ways off the highway, but costs 35% less than other hotels nearby. The hotel was average, clean, and had an average breakfast. Andrew at the desk was very friendly, and the breakfast staff were great too.

I booked seven rooms for a small family reunion, and the staff made everyone feel welcome, even though we arrived at different times. The people I spoke with beforehand and those on duty when we got there were professional and hospitable, and the stay met and exceeded what I expected. I’ve stayed here many times while traveling through Morgantown. The front desk team, housekeepers, and breakfast staff have always been pleasant and professional. As usual, the rooms were spacious, clean, and well maintained. I highly recommend this hotel.

I had a wonderful stay here back in March, but this visit was a very different experience. Trucks kept beeping through the night, one waking us just as we’d managed to fall asleep after another. We barely slept. I really needed a shower in the morning, but the water was awful. My hair felt horrible and looked so dirty afterward, and I felt dirty all day.

Everyone was friendly and helpful, and the room itself was nice. We stayed three nights, but it wasn’t cleaned properly: the trash hadn’t been emptied. The towels were changed on the second night.
