Best Western PLUS Morristown Inn-Florham Park

I left feeling misled by the 3-star label. I paid about $270 for one night, but the breakfast was pathetic, worse than what I've had at 2-star hotels. On arrival, the entrance looked like a small back door and seemed locked. I tried several buttons without getting a response, and there was nobody at the desk. Once I got in, the attendant said none of the help buttons worked. There was just one elevator, the hallway smelled, probably because of the carpet, and the bathtub faucet leaked badly when I pulled up the shower knob. They really should be rated 2 stars and still have plenty to improve.

We've stayed here twice now, each time for a night, and found it cozy and welcoming. It's a smaller place, which adds to the charm, with clean, well-appointed rooms and friendly, helpful staff. There was plenty of parking just a few steps away, and the price seemed fair for the area. It's handy to downtown Morristown and the highway. I'd recommend it.

Breakfast was a real highlight, with eggs, bacon, potatoes, and fresh blueberries, raspberries, blackberries, and strawberries. There was anything you could want, and the breakfast staff kept everything stocked and were attentive. We only stayed one night while heading south, but the room was SO clean, and the king bed and pillows were super comfortable. Lovely little town, too.

We've stayed overnight four times when going to a show at MPAC, which is just down the road. The hotel is really nice, tastefully decorated, and spotlessly clean, with a well-furnished room and safety bars in the tub. Breakfast is always good: eggs, bacon, sausage, bagels, fruit, yogurt, muffins, juice, and very good coffee.
