We booked online and drove over, but when I asked to use the restroom because of a slight emergency, the staff member said there wasn’t one available. She seemed offended that we’d booked online instead of directly with her and mentioned our earlier call. The exchange felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming, and the whole experience was disappointing.

The room was clean and the bed was nice, but it felt bare and awkward. There were no pictures, and despite having lots of space for a sitting area, there was nothing to sit on. The outlets in the nightstands only worked on one side. To make coffee, we had to unplug either the fridge or the microwave.

A quiet stay in Morro Bay, with a clean room, hot shower, and easy parking. There was a fridge and microwave in the room, and the shops were an easy walk away. I really enjoyed the location.

A well-run motel with nice people, a comfortable bed, and good hot water. I liked having carpet instead of cheap plastic flooring. Get someone to show you the heating and cooling unit right away, though, because the controls aren’t labeled clearly.

I was visiting from Sacramento and stayed one night on the way to pismo. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was really comfortable. The water got nice and hot in both the shower and sink. Staff were kind and the hospitality was great. People in Morro Bay were friendly too. It’s a nice town, very close to the water, and I had a pleasant stay.
