Hampton Inn Southlake

LaToya at the desk was very friendly and helpful, and the grounds were clean and well lit. Our room was nice and clean, and breakfast had plenty of options. The stay at this Hampton Inn was pleasant and good value between the lower- and higher-priced hotels in the area. A little remodeling in some places would help.

I’ve stayed here a couple of times while traveling between Florida and Missouri, and the staff have always been friendly. I checked in late last night, and Justin, I think that was his name, greeted me with a huge smile and made me feel welcome. This morning, everyone who saw me said good morning and had such genuine good vibes. The room and breakfast area were clean, and the coffee was hot. This is a great location. I’ll definitely be back and look forward to it.

The staff were great, and the breakfast was good. When we first checked in, our assigned room had a broken door. Someone from the desk came to take pictures and moved us to another room. I checked in Wednesday and left Saturday, but the room was never cleaned during the stay. They did replace the towels. When I got home and checked my card statement, there were two charges, one for $25.00 and another for $50.00. I called and was told they were dog fees. I explained my dogs are service animals, but the woman said I had to show proof. Staff who know the federal regulations on service animals should ask two questions, and neither was asked. I tried calling the manager and still hadn’t heard back as of this review.

The rooms were nice, the staff pleasant and helpful, and the parking lot well lit. The breakfast was a pretty generic hotel breakfast. The bathrooms could use work: the tubs drained poorly and the hot water wasn’t very hot. Maybe the boilers are set too low. I was there for the ice storm, not for fun.
