Red Roof Inn Atlanta South - Morrow

My daughter and I checked in and asked for a non-smoking room. As soon as we opened the door, smoke smell hit us in the face. The sheets had hair and yellow stains. They moved us to another room, but it had bugs. Then they tried to offer us a third room. No, we checked out and asked for a refund. They said they could refund us, and we were supposed to stay until Tuesday, but they still charged my card for the days we didn't stay. This place is nasty, unprofessional, and disgusting.

We were worn out after driving 11 hours and needed to rest, so we didn't have a choice. The place was definitely not clean. There were stains and marks all over the ceiling, and the disgusting lampshade needs replacing. The refrigerator couldn't get anything cold or keep it cool. I'll never stop in that city again.

I gave it two stars because it was cheap, the location suited our trip, and they let us bring our dog. The quality was about what you'd expect for the price, but this was one of the worst rooms I can remember. The bed cover was dirty or stained, and the towels were dingy. My wife assured me they'd been washed, but I wasn't sure. The floor planks were separated by half an inch, even though it was cold out. The door wasn't set square, leaving a huge gap, and there were black splotches on the bathroom wall. There were too many problems to list.

I was too tired to ask to switch rooms. It did what I needed, which was give me a bed for the night, and the bed was very comfortable. I had asked for a room away from other guests because of my dog, but they put me somewhere I couldn't park close to the room. Listening was the problem.
