The front desk woman was kind and professional, and found us a room without pets because my husband and I are allergic. The room was clean and had new carpeting. Breakfast was okay, and the woman running it kindly kept it open for an extra 15 minutes. The renovation seems to have missed a few things. The bathroom vent was full of rust and dust, and there was rust around the tub drain for about two inches. Smoke from people near the entrance drifted into the lobby, so it might help to have them smoke 50 feet away and put up signs showing where. The worst issue was the AC. It hadn't been cleaned properly after the renovation, and each time it came on there was a musty smell, like old dust and moisture. I put an AC filter where the air came out, which helped with the dust but not the smell. I also tried my own sanitizing spray for the bacterial smell, but that barely helped.

Bobbie, the owner, made sure I got a good rate, and Megan at the front desk was awesome. I slept great in the perfect room, with a king size bed that suited me as a tall guy. Breakfast was definitely on point, and there were no bugs. I'll stay here again for sure. If you need a room, don't pass this place up. It's a good place to stay.

The front desk clerk was great, really friendly, and the bed was comfortable with soft towels. The room was dated and a little beat up, though clean. I think I could have slept fine there, but someone sat in a car playing subwoofers and I put up with it for 20 minutes before grabbing my bag and checking out. I ended up sleeping in my semi's seat. I'd driven from st.louis Missouri and parked my daycab semi at McDonald's after my delivery, then paid for the room. Years ago I might've asked the person to turn it off and respect other people, but these days you never know who has a gun, so leaving seemed best.

The bed was comfortable, but my room had a lot of cosmetic problems that seemed inexpensive to fix, like the paint on the door and the unsanded spackle on the bathroom ceiling. I don't know how the paper got wet. I only washed my hands the night I arrived, after checking in a little after 10pm, but the roll was soaked, and the second roll in storage was wet too. There was also water beneath the tray for the ice container, though I never got ice. An outlet was pushed in and might make it hard to plug in a charging block. I tried to dim the bathroom light, and the picture has cobwebs in between it.

Bobbie gave customer service that went beyond what I expected. The bed was comfortable, breakfast was great and hot, and this was my best night so far. Fantastic, highly recommended!
