Crickets in the hallway were one of several signs of how poorly maintained this place is, from the outside of the property right through to the bathroom. There is damage and something wrong everywhere you look. The Comfort Inn standards have disappeared without proper spending and attention to detail. This isn't close to Comfort Inn quality, whatever the reviews or scores above three stars might suggest. Choice should make them drop the Comfort Inn franchise name. I won't stay again.

The service was not customer friendly at all. I tried for two days before my stay to tell the hotel I'd only be there one night, but nobody answered the phone. When I was already at the hotel and called about a lamp that wouldn't work, I still had to go downstairs because they wouldn't pick up. Even though I stayed only a few hours, they charged me for the entire weekend. They lied and charged me for the whole weekend.

The staff were friendly, and the room was okay, but there were problems throughout the property. The ceiling in the breakfast area had several broken spots, and the second-floor hallway smelled like mildew or mold, with wallpaper barely hanging on and signs of water damage. Inside the room, there was hair in the tub and the pillows had no covers. The jetted tub looked like it hadn't worked in years, and its filter was moldy. Two lamps kept flickering because their wiring seemed shorted.

The hotel may be older, but the staff were outstanding during our stay. They were kind and really focused on taking care of customers. Thank you!
