Holiday Inn Express Moss Point by IHG

The breakfast was the best I’ve had at an IHG hotel, with more choices than you usually see. The staff member looking after it was incredibly sweet and welcoming. Our beds were a solid 10/10, super comfortable after a long travel day. We’d been heading to New Orleans but couldn’t make the whole drive, so we booked at the last minute. At about 11:00 PM, a very friendly desk clerk greeted us. There were even dog-shaped towels on the bed, a fun touch that reminded me of a cruise. We’d gladly stop here again.

Mary was the kind lady making breakfast happen, and there was a great spread: fried eggs, an egg white omelet, two kinds of sausage, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, cereal, yogurt, and more. The room was clean, the air conditioning kept it cool, and the beds were comfy. The front desk folks were helpful, polite, and friendly.

Housekeeping did a thorough job each day while we were out exploring, putting things back almost mechanically. The whole place was clean, the amenities all worked, and toiletries were easy to get. Breakfast was fresh and well managed, and the staff were kind and professional. It’s about 20 minutes from the beach. 10/10.

The renovated rooms look great, and to me the small rate increase is worth it, especially for Moss Piont. I’ve stayed here a few times over the past 3yrs and will keep coming back when I need to.
