Quality Inn Moss Point - Pascagoula

The rooms were 🤢 NASTY. The carpets were so gross that walking barefoot from the bed to the bathroom left my feet mega dirty. The beds weren’t Queen, the room stank like mold, and the GYM was mega nasty with mold. The place smelled like cat food, and service was meh.

Check-in was quick and easy because the front desk person was extremely helpful. The room was clean and had all the modern conveniences, with everything well equipped. I’d recommend it to any traveler.

The rooms were clean, and the service was nice and polite. When we arrived, police and EMTs were running around because someone had taken their own life. Sad, but part of life.

We got there around 6 pm. The room had an odd smell, but we were exhausted and it seemed fairly clean. The kids went to the pool; afterward, as we were getting ready for bed, I spotted a bed bug crawling on my pillow. The clerk was nice and refunded my money right away. I hadn’t planned to write a review until I called the next day about my 7-year-old’s bathing suit, which she’d left in the room. They said I’d have to wait until Monday because housekeeping had left for the day. I explained we weren’t local and couldn’t come back Monday. The clerk asked me to call back in ten minutes. When I did, she said housekeeping found no bathing suit. I know it was beside the bed, so I think housekeeping threw it away and then lied about it. It cost $40, so I was upset. Then she felt the need to say what I saw crawling on the pillow was a flea, not a bed bug. I know what bed bugs and their droppings look like, and it wasn’t a flea. Photos below.
