The listings on Google, Apple, and the booking site all said pets were welcome, but that turned out not to be true. The woman at the desk was unpleasant when she told me, after we'd already gone through the whole process. My pet is better trained than plenty of people walking around these days, and we found somewhere else that was nicer and cheaper. I wouldn't bother with this place. I wouldn't be surprised if it had roaches, either. Don't settle for this dump.

The night itself seemed fine at first, but the next morning I discovered that a worker had come into our room while my girlfriend and I were asleep and taken something important to her. We searched everywhere for it on 01/16. Later, that same worker walked straight in without knocking while my girlfriend was undressed. There was no apology. They said they'd heard a dog in the room, but we had no animals with us. My girlfriend felt violated and unsafe. I was so angry I went quiet, then spoke to staff once I'd calmed down to ask why we'd been treated that way. They were hostile and basically told me not to come back. I handed over the key and left. Nobody showed any sincerity or apologized. Getting the room was a mess from the start. I booked one night, 01/15 to 01/16, and called ahead to make sure I could arrive after the 3 pm check-in time. The person working said arriving by 11 pm was fine. I got there around 8 or 9 pm and was told I had no reservation, even though I showed my confirmation email. They also said I had to be at least 25 to get a room. I left to avoid trouble, checked my confirmation, and saw I was right. When I called, the worker recognized me, but I still had to jump through hoops and kept being told there was no reservation despite my confirmation number. They hung up on me, then claimed I had hung up when I called back. Only after I called again, gave my name, and confirmed how many people would stay did they accept that I was who I said I was. One of the worst hotel experiences I've had.

The room felt comfortable and was clean, and the price was the best. Service was great, they really went above and beyond. I'd stay here again.

The room itself was worn: scratched furniture, and dirty, beat-up trim and doors. Breakfast was pretty sad too, just granola bars, bagged bread, and Sunny D. A local gas station would have more to offer. At check-in we had to call a number and wait for someone to come to the window. Nobody we spoke with seemed pleasant or interested in helping. What made me furious was my husband's wedding band. He left it on the bathroom counter, and when we called that same day, they said they'd found it but wouldn't ship it to us. We obviously aren't local, or we wouldn't have picked this nasty motel. To me, that's unacceptable. If I worked with the public, I'd make every effort I could to return something so valuable and sentimental to its owner. I've never been this angry at an establishment, and I wish I could give negative stars. This is a dirty place run by people who, in my opinion, would rather take a wedding band to a pawn shop than help someone who accidentally left it behind. Have the day you deserve, Days Inn management.

I went to the desk to book, and the woman there was unfriendly from the start. After I paid and went into the room, the stale, moldy smell nearly made me sick. There were a couple of dead crickets by the air unit, so I got tissue to pick them up and flush them. At first I figured they'd slipped in while the cleaner was there, but then I saw dead and half-dead crickets and roaches all over the room. I went back and asked for my money back. The woman was rude and unprofessional, accused me of lying, and refused a refund even though I offered to show her the bugs. She said she'd only move me to another room. I insisted on getting my money back, and after we argued back and forth and I got irate, she finally refunded me. I wouldn't recommend this roach motel. I don't understand the five-star ratings. Anyone who gives it five stars must be nasty themselves and not care about filth.
