The Balladeer Hotel made such an impression that I brought my husband back the following weekend so he could see it too. I was in town for an event, and our host booked us there. The staff were attentive, the room incredibly comfortable, and the interior design was superb, with every detail seeming thoughtfully considered. Now I need another reason to visit Mount Airy and stay again.

The hotel is brand new and full of character, with large, attractive, luxurious, well-appointed rooms. The staff were friendly and helpful. Some amenities were still being completed because it’s so new, but we had an awesome stay. It should only get better, and we’ll be back.

At the Balladeer Hotel’s Grand Opening, what struck me most was how inviting the lobbies were. People settled in for long conversations with strangers and seemed to leave as new friends. The rooms are elaborate, and I’ve never visited a more beautifully designed hotel. My husband and I loved our weekend there and hope to return later.

Even unfinished, this might be the coolest place I’ve stayed. It’s expected to be complete around Aug 2026, with an event center, restaurant, wedding suite, outdoor courtyard, and who knows what else. The building’s history is pretty cool too. I love how the design brings together elegance, modern style, charm, and nostalgia, and the thought put into the layout impressed me. There’s a record room with some awesome vinyl, and the rooms have Bluetooth record players, so bring your Bluetooth speaker. The coffee machine setup and lobby are great, with plenty of seating and a tap wall. This place will be awesome for events. We’ll be back.

I loved everything here. The hotel is brand new, the decor is stunning, and the outdoor space is something you have to see to believe. When you visit Mount Airy, this is the place to stay.
