Mt Hood Oregon Resort, BW Premier Collection

The beautiful setting gives you lots of room to walk around and enjoy nature. Our rooms were spacious, cozy, and comfortable, and everyone on staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Mt. Hood Oregon Resort was a lovely place to relax and disconnect. We'd definitely come back.

The pool and hot tub were amazing, and dinner at the hotel's restaurant was very good. We usually drive two hours each way for a day of skiing at Mt Hood, but staying here between two ski days made the trip much more relaxing. The rooms were comfortable too. I'd recommend it for a more enjoyable ski trip.

Becky made check-in such a good experience. My girlfriend and I had a few questions, and she helped us out and gave us great advice on a walking trail near our room. Her genuine customer service was a breath of fresh air, and she's the reason we'll be back. BECKY!!!!

The staff were friendly, and there's plenty to do outside the resort, but very little to do on the property itself. The lobby was crowded with boxes. For golf, 27 holes cost $200 per person. The New Year's party was a letdown. Entry was free, but drinks cost extra, nobody was dancing, and only a couple of people sang. Everyone got a 21+ wristband, but IDs weren't checked, so they might have sold alcohol to a minor. The New Year's meal was okay; one course was so bad they took $25 off our $95 meal, which was appreciated. The pool is heated, but the hot tub is tiny and its jets push water out. The rooms are so dark they feel like a DnD dungeon, my chair was ripped in the middle, and the beds are kind of hard. The spa has moved and is way too expensive. The Spa website listed one price for the “Mount Hood Rejuvenation” massage for new guests, but the booking site charged twice as much. The gym is closed. Resort prices haven't changed, while they're offering less than a third of the amenities. It's basically an overpriced hotel with a golf course two blocks away. We came for a New Year's celebration that looked really hyped on the website, but my wife and I were disappointed. For skiing alone, it's a good cheap hotel, though the resort features aren't great. If you want the Mount Hood experience, spend the extra $60 for a room at the Timberline. As the “Mount Hood Resort,” this was pretty depressing.
