The Crooked Tree Tavern has good food at reasonable prices, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. We also love how charming Cooper Spur is, with beautiful scenery all around. The cabins feel cozy and have full kitchens and fireplaces, and it’s a quick drive to Mt Hood Meadows and Teacup. Depending on snow conditions, there are groomed cross country trails right at Cooper Spur. One small thought: when the room and cabin bulbs need replacing, I hope they’ll consider warm-hue LED bulbs.

We had an unexpected problem during our stay, and the staff handled it in a way that really stood out. The log cabins are beautiful and come with fully equipped kitchens. The attached tavern served excellent food, had a nice selection of local ales, and gave great service. The only drawback was that it was closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. I’d definitely recommend staying at Coopers Spur Inn.

The cabins are amazing, and they have great deals on rooms too. Everything about our stay was perfect, from the super friendly staff to the fantastic coffee blend. This is my favorite place to stay on the mountain, and I’ll definitely be back soon!

The restaurant next door served really tasty food, and every employee we met was nice and helpful. We stayed in the Homestead cabin, which was quite nice, with a gas fireplace, full kitchen, and living room TV. Dogs are allowed in the cabins, and our pooch enjoyed her stay. We had such a good time that we’ve already booked a larger cabin for next Christmas!

Our family came for one night and had a wonderful time. The surroundings were beautiful, and the atmosphere felt calm and refreshing, like a real getaway. We were at Cooper Spur Mountain Resort for the weekend to celebrate our small wedding reception in their restaurant, and it was perfect. The food was very good, too. The staff were so friendly and welcoming that everything felt easy and relaxed. Our cabins were quiet, peaceful, cozy, and extremely comfy. We never even felt like we needed to lock anything up. We’re so glad we chose it for such a special occasion.
