Family Farmhouse Inn

I was very comfortable in my lower suite, which had a tiny porch where I could have a beer and wind down. This is a quaint, interesting Airbnb in an old farmhouse with two outbuildings, each with two floors. Each floor is a suite, so there are four in all. The rooms are on the small side, but you don't need much space. The grounds are carefully kept, with bright white fencing and nicely manicured gardens and grass. There's a backyard fun area for ax throwing, fire pit chats, and other quiet activities. The only thing that wasn't perfect was the location near I-81, a very heavily traveled north-south interstate. You can hear traffic, but it fades away once you're in the suites. My one issue was parking. The drive is gravel, and getting luggage from the parking area to the room takes some effort, even with wheels, though nothing too crazy. I think most people who stay here will be very pleased.

The owner gave us helpful information about restaurants and things to do, and we'd stay here again if we're in the area. We spent one night in the Springhouse at the Family Farmhouse. The room was charming, clean, and comfortable, with enough outlets for our electronics. The shower was nice and hot.

The gardens around the house looked and smelled lovely in the morning, and we really liked the location. The farmhouse room was beautiful and so nice. We made good memories there, and the price felt worth it for such a special experience. A lovely Virginia getaway, with fine service too.

We stayed in "A Loft," which was cozy and really nice. The place has a family play area and lots of backyard space, with nature around it and everything kept up nicely. Our room had a coffee maker, TV, and wifi. We loved the hospitality and would definitely recommend it for a vacation.
