Uncle Leroy, the Food Service Manager, was the highlight of my stay. He was so warm and friendly, with customer service that's hard to beat. When I come back to Nashville, I'd stay here just for the chance to talk with him. There were a few hiccups that I think came from younger staff, but the manager fixed the problem right away once they knew about it, and apologized. The bed was very comfortable, the room was clean and smelled great, and the rest of the staff were warm and friendly.

Uncle Leroy made the lobby feel welcoming, chatting with everyone like an old friend. Really nice place, and he gave incredible service. Highly recommend.

I love staying here. The rooms and staff are great, and the location is convenient, all 10 out of 10 for me. My favorite part is Bar Manager “Uncle Leroy.” He's an amazing person who makes you feel like family.

The room we were moved to had a dated shower with a cracked back wall panel, and it didn't have the king bed we expected. That did little to make up for how gross the first room was. We'd been given a handicap room, though I'm not sure why, and it only became an issue when I turned down the covers and got hit by an overpowering rotten diaper smell from the bed. The mattress also felt mushy, probably old. It was disgusting enough that I think the health department should inspect. The customer service representative was nice and found us another room, but it didn't match what we'd paid for. There was no free breakfast in the morning either. This wasn't the Marriott quality we're used to.

When you're in Mount Juliet, stop by the cafe and look for Uncle Leroy. He'll help with almost anything and keep smiling while you're with him. I've stayed at a lot of Marriott hotels, and I hope the owners and managers understand that guests come specifically to see him. I think the hotel's sales would drop if he weren't there. Please pass along my thanks to him and the other staff.
