AmericInn by Wyndham Mount Pleasant

The front desk women were kind and professional, and our room was clean, with crisp sheets and bright white towels. Breakfast had a surprisingly broad selection: hard boiled eggs, waffles, cereal, yogurt, plus the usual scrambled eggs and sausages. We had a good time in the pool, and it was nice to have towels provided, though I wish the water were a little warmer and the sauna and hot tub were still open. The plants gave the area a lush, tropical feel. Walmart and Dollar Tree are across the street, with restaurants all around. It may be listed as a two star hotel, but the service felt five star. Our three-night stay was great from start to finish. 10/10, I’ll stay here next time I’m in town.

The price was very reasonable, especially with my Wyndham membership. Walmart is across the street, and Jimmy John’s and a gas station are down the frontage road. The hotel was clean and smelled nice, and service was great from the gentleman at the front desk to the morning staff and housekeeping. I’d happily stay again when passing through, and highly recommend it.

Adrianne and the breakfast staff were really kind to me and my children, which helped make up for the rude staff member the night before. After a long drive with two kids under two, we’d followed the lobby sign’s directions and were met by an unfriendly employee. There’s no elevator. Our room was cold at first, but warmed up once we turned on the heater. The bed wasn’t comfortable, and the amenities felt outdated. The toilet and shower room floor had dirt and trash on it.

We came back to Mt Pleasant from North Carolina for the holidays, where we’re currently on military duty. Our first hotel had closed its pool, so we switched to the AmericInn. That inconvenience turned into a blessing. Christyn at the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate us and make the trip special. Housekeeping and maintenance were sweet, too, and breakfast was delicious. My family and I were so impressed. Thank you!
