Holiday Inn Express Mt. Pleasant - Scottdale

Three days during our weeklong Labor Day stay, we went down for breakfast and found a sign saying it wasn’t being served. We also repeatedly had to go to the desk ourselves for towels, toilet paper, and to deal with the garbage. Calls asking for towels went unanswered, and on several trips nobody was at the counter. Once, the desk employee was in the food area with coffee and didn’t speak to us even though she saw us waiting, until we asked if she worked there. We’d asked for cleaning every other day, knowing the hotel was busy, but the room was cleaned only once, on our last day. Mt. Pleasant Holiday Inn Express is a nice facility, and our room was spacious and clean at the start. When I asked for the manager, I was told he wasn’t there, and the phone number I requested didn’t get answered. Finding good workers can be hard, but this felt like a management problem. They need more staff and should pay the hardworking ones well.

With the winter storms and people not showing up, the staff had a lot on their plate, but they stayed kind and did their best. Ms.Wilma and Mr.Charles made a rough week so much easier with a wonderful conversation. Thanks so much. I’ll absolutely choose this hotel again.

I was charged twice for a room here in July and still haven’t gotten my money back. Each time I call, I’m told a refund is coming, but I’m still waiting. Holiday Inn Express Mt. pleasant, this place seems disorganized and unable to get the refund issued. I’ll take it up the ladder if I have to. What do I need to do to get my money back?

The front desk ladies were really friendly, and the breakfast was included with plenty to pick from: eggs, potatoes, a waffle station, pastries, and more. The rooms were nice too. It was a great place to stay while visiting my hometown.
