We’re from Nevada and travel all over the country doing safety inspections on bucket trucks for tree companies. Today, Sunday, we were inspecting trucks in the parking lot. The tree workers all stay at this hotel, so the tree company definitely brings it some positive income. We hadn’t checked in yet when I asked to use the lobby bathroom. The gentleman told me, “We have no public bathroom.” For a minute I thought I was on the east coast. This is the great state of Texas? From our travels, we’ve learned that when a place says there’s no public bathroom, it usually means you’re in a bad part of town and they’re trying to keep homeless people and vagrants from using it. We planned to stay here tonight, but definitely not now.

The AC unit was broken and stuck on a semi-cool setting, half the lights still didn’t work even after maintenance replaced them, and the shower flooded the whole bathroom. The dryers didn’t dry clothes, housekeeping boards towels for some weird reason, and some guy walked around screaming all day. Other than that, it’s a place to sleep in a cheap hurry.

I arrived on Nov 1st to find the place looking awful, and nobody was at the front desk. I called, but no one picked up. I believe the worker who was supposed to be there had left the property and pulled up after me. I won't be coming back.

We were sent to a room that the system marked as dirty. There were no bulbs in any of the fixtures, it smelled strongly of marijuana, and mold was growing in the bathroom. We left right away. I regularly book Motel 6 stays around the country, but this was not okay.

I stayed here last night and saw rats everywhere. There were so many that I even spotted one by the laundry room, a huge rat that looked like it was searching for a new home. The people who own the place don't seem to care or call pest control to handle it. I've also heard complaints that the apartments have rats too. This makes no sense. Don't book here at all.
