Shem Creek Inn

My wife and I had a wonderful stay at this relaxed, distinctive Inn on Shem Creek. The staff were pleasant and attentive, and our room was clean with a very comfortable bed. I’d suggest booking creekside if you want views of the fishing trawlers, restaurants, and Shem Creek. Thanks so much!! A++

The rooms were clean and well maintained, and we really enjoyed staying here. Management was friendly and easy to work with, especially Doug. Several local bars and restaurants are within walking distance, and getting around was easy. We’ll definitely stay here again if we’re back in Charleston or Mt. Pleasant, and would recommend it to friends traveling through.

The deluxe king creekside room was cool and comfortable, and it was great having a balcony. The rooms aren’t perfect, but I loved the location and the area, with lots of places for food and drinks right outside the door. There’s a nice pool on site too.

The complimentary grab-and-go breakfast looked a little underwhelming at first, but the products were good. The frozen breakfast items were great, and there were several yogurt choices, including high-protein and low-sugar ones. I was impressed. The room was comfortable, and having everything centered around the pool made the stay fun. Staff were friendly and really helpful. You can walk to lots of restaurants, and there’s a great boardwalk through the Carolina marsh with lovely views for couples’ or family photos. I’d come back with family and friends without hesitation.
