A misunderstanding with a friend caused my previous review, and I'm sorry for posting something false. The people here are incredibly nice and willing to work things out if you talk with them. The location is near a lot of places and works well for resting before getting back on the road. Sorry to the business men and woman who make this place great.

It's one of the best cheap places I've stayed. They work with the motel tenants, and best of all, there's NO Criminal Activity.

Room 38 is amazing, and the manager is amazing too. Great vibes, very understanding and patient. We're really grateful for him.

The room was generous in size, well appointed, and very clean, and the rate matched or beat anywhere else in town. Staff were so friendly that checking in turned into a 15-minute chat about all sorts of things. There are bluegrass listening sessions by the fire pit, with a nice smoky smell drifting over from that direction. I haven't tried every hotel in town, but I can't think of anywhere I'd rather stay in this part of Texas.

After a nine-hour drive, I just wanted a hot bath and some sleep during my two-night stay. When I ran the tub, chunks of concrete came out. The towels were extremely thin, and unless you keep the A/C on, you'll hear your neighbors all night. It was $50 a night. I won't be back.
