Travelodge Mt. Pocono

The beds were the best we've ever slept in, with two kinds of pillows, and breakfast was fantastic: cereal and donuts, what more could you want? The stay was great from check-in to checkout because everyone went out of their way to help. The front desk even checked road conditions for our trip back and suggested a faster route than the one I had planned. This is the best hotel we've stayed at in Mount Pocono, PA. We weren't disappointed and plan to make it our regular place whenever we come back to Mount Pocono, PA.

We were there for Pocono race weekend, so the rates were higher than usual. I wouldn't pay that much on a regular weekend. The place has been newly renovated, and the bathroom and bed were good. The office and front desk could use some attention, though the guy at the desk was very friendly, which was a plus.

The beds were awesome, and the rooms are nicer inside than you'd expect from the outside. The office was awful, nasty, and smelled like mothballs. Good thing we didn't sleep in there.

The owners were nice, but that was about the only good part. I ended up here only because Mount M Hotel didn't honor my reservation, and it was a nightmare. My first room had no hot water, and the shower backed up into the tub with hair and scum. You were lucky to get one towel. They moved me to another room where the water was better, but the rooms still smelled. There were no amenities: no hair dryer, iron, coffee pot, or microwave. The fridge froze everything. No continental breakfast either, just cereal that looked really old and watery coffee. This is the worst place I've stayed, and I'd never return unless I had absolutely no choice. There are cheaper, nicer places down the road. Awful.
